Versa: The Summer Edition
The summer edition of Versa, the journal of the Old Albanian Association, is now in the hands of members.
The Old Albanian Association
Non Nobis Nati
Since 1892, the Association has gathered the alumni of St Albans School — one of the oldest schools in the world — in fellowship, sport and service. We invite every Old Albanian to take their place in that continuing story.
Since the year of foundation
The School traces its origins to the year 948, within the shadow of St Albans Abbey. The Association was constituted in 1892 to keep that fellowship alive beyond the school gates — through dinners and reunions, the sporting clubs, and the quiet generosity that endows the next generation.
Our history
St Albans School is established beside the Abbey — among the oldest seats of learning in the world.
Old Albanians formally band together under the motto Non Nobis Nati, to preserve their fellowship for life.
The tradition of the Annual Dinner begins — to this day the centrepiece of the OA calendar.
Rugby, cricket and the other OA clubs establish themselves at the Woollam Playing Fields.

From the Association

Support & bequests
A gift to the Association — given now, or left as a legacy — supports bursaries at the School and the work of the 948 Sports Foundation. It is the truest expression of our motto: a kindness offered not for ourselves, but for the Albanians yet to come.
